Privacy Policy
How SOPIDOTECH LTD handles personal information across sopidotech.com, its contact channels, portfolio, blog, free tools and related digital services.
Effective date: 14 October 2026. This notice is a global baseline and is intended to be read together with the Cookie Policy, Terms & Conditions, Disclaimer, Affiliate Disclosure and Privacy Requests page. It does not replace jurisdiction-specific legal advice.
1. Who we are
SOPIDOTECH LTD operates sopidotech.com. Privacy enquiries and data-subject requests can be sent to info@sopidotech.com. General contact channels are listed on our Contact page.
2. What information we collect
| Category | Examples | Typical source |
|---|---|---|
| Identity and contact data | Name, email address, telephone/WhatsApp number. | You when you contact us. |
| Project/enquiry data | Service selected, project brief, requirements and correspondence. | Contact forms, email, WhatsApp or other direct communication. |
| Technical and security data | IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, request metadata, security logs. | Hosting/server infrastructure and security systems. |

| Tool input/output data | Text, calculations, image/PDF inputs or generated results depending on the tool. | You when using a tool. Many browser tools are designed to process inputs locally. |
Do not send passwords, private keys, payment-card details or highly sensitive information through ordinary website forms unless we specifically instruct you through an appropriate secure channel.
3. How we collect information
- Directly from forms, email, telephone, WhatsApp and other communications.
- Automatically from the hosting/server environment and security infrastructure.
- Through cookies or similar technologies where permitted and, where required, after consent. See the Cookie Policy.
4. Why we use personal information
- To answer enquiries and communicate about requested services.
- To prepare quotations, proposals, project scopes and related business records.
- To provide, secure, maintain and improve the website and digital tools.
- To detect abuse, spam, fraud, security incidents and other harmful activity.
- To meet legal, accounting, regulatory or dispute-resolution obligations.
- To measure website use using cookieless measurements and, when accepted, analytics cookies.
- To support advertising or affiliate-related measurement only where applicable technologies are enabled and permitted.
5. Legal bases
Depending on the jurisdiction and the context, our processing may rely on taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, pursuing a legitimate interest that is not overridden by your rights, consent where consent is required, or another lawful basis recognised by applicable law. We do not treat consent as required for every processing activity where the law permits a different lawful basis.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Essential technologies may support security, navigation and remembering privacy choices. Google Analytics uses advanced consent mode: analytics and advertising storage default to denied. The Google tag loads on public pages and may send cookieless measurements before you accept analytics cookies. Accepting analytics enables analytics storage; rejecting keeps it denied. Advertising remains separately controlled by the certified consent manager when enabled. You can revisit your choices from the Cookie Settings link.
Advertising and local data
Advertising is disabled in this release pending the owner’s account setup, ad-unit configuration and required certified consent management. The local cookie preference interface is not a Google-certified advertising CMP. Browser projects and favorites are stored on this device only, are not synchronised, and can be removed using the tool controls or by clearing site data. Files selected for local conversion are processed in the browser and are not saved automatically. The File Share Tool is the explicit upload exception described below.
7. Free tools and browser processing
Many SOPIDOTECH free tools are client-side utilities. Where a specific tool is designed to process data in the browser, the intended workflow is to keep that input in the browser rather than transmit it to our server. This is not a blanket guarantee for every tool or future feature. Review the tool's instructions before entering confidential information.
Browser-based tools
Local comparison, conversion, formatting and image workspaces process the input on your device. These tools do not upload your text, tokens or images for processing. Downloaded files are created in your browser. Network lookup tools send the public target to the stated provider. The JWT decoder disables optional analytics and advertising on that workspace.
8. Contact forms
Website enquiries are submitted to our server with session-based CSRF protection, spam checks and request limits. Cloudflare Turnstile may provide additional verification when enabled. Enquiries are sent through our configured mail service. We use the submitted information to respond to the enquiry and conduct related project communication. The current contact mailbox is info@sopidotech.com.
9. Sharing and service providers
Web typography and external font loading
We use Google Fonts to deliver the Lexend and Poppins typefaces throughout the site. When a page loads, the visitor’s browser may request font stylesheets from fonts.googleapis.com and font files from fonts.gstatic.com. Google may receive technical request information such as the IP address and browser details under its own applicable policies. If those services are unavailable, the site displays a system fallback font. If you prefer to avoid third-party requests, you can block those hosts in your browser, though the appearance may vary.
We may disclose information to service providers that help operate our website, email, security, infrastructure or requested services, subject to appropriate contractual or legal arrangements where required. We may also disclose information where necessary to comply with law, protect rights, investigate abuse, enforce agreements or respond to lawful requests.
External destinations such as WhatsApp, social networks, hosting providers, affiliate partners and third-party websites operate under their own privacy notices. When you leave sopidotech.com, their practices may apply instead of ours.
10. Affiliate and partner relationships
Some educational pages may contain affiliate or partner links. The current affiliate disclosure identifies relevant commercial relationships and the circumstances in which SOPIDOTECH may receive a commission. See the Affiliate Disclosure.
11. International transfers
Website infrastructure and service providers may process information outside the country where you live. Where applicable law imposes transfer requirements, we seek appropriate safeguards or other lawful transfer mechanisms. The specific mechanism may vary by provider and jurisdiction.
12. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, legitimate business administration, security, contractual records, legal obligations or dispute resolution. Retention may vary by record type. We do not publish a single blanket retention period where the underlying record types have different business or legal requirements.
13. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the website and the information we process, including access controls, server-side validation, CSRF protection, rate limiting and anti-bot measures. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
14. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights including access, correction/rectification, deletion/erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, and the ability to complain to a supervisory authority. Some jurisdictions also provide rights to opt out of certain forms of sale, sharing, targeted advertising or profiling. Rights are subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Requests
Use our Privacy Requests page or email info@sopidotech.com. We may need reasonable information to verify identity before acting on a request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law or, where no specific period applies, within a reasonable period.

File sharing and portable projects
The File Share Tool uploads the selected permitted file to this website’s private server storage after explicit upload permission. It stores the original filename, size, SHA-256 digest, expiry, download count, password hash when selected, and a hash of the revocation key. File bytes are not encrypted at rest by this feature. A recipient link grants access to anyone holding it unless a password is required. Send passwords separately and keep the private management receipt confidential. Do not use public sharing for sensitive personal, payroll, medical or confidential records.
Choose an expiry of one hour, 24 hours or seven days and a maximum download count. Expired, revoked or exhausted links stop working; physical copies are removed at cleanup, on relevant requests or through the operator’s hourly cleanup task. An authorized download consumes a count when the response starts, even if the connection is interrupted. Revocation cannot recall copies already downloaded. Files are not scanned for malware. Upload only files you have permission to distribute; harmful, illegal or infringing uploads are prohibited. Report an unwanted share through our contact page, including the link.
Sharing uses a session and CSRF token, quotas and request-rate records keyed from the network address. These rate records are purged after they become older than 24 hours; hosting access logs may retain network and request information under the host’s policy. Uploaded files must not be treated as permanent backups. File and ZIP compression remain local to the browser. Explicit project or result downloads can contain entered financial data, contact information and tokens; no automatic storage is added by the portable-workspace enhancement. Selected file bytes and password input fields are excluded from project JSON, while explicitly downloaded password results remain sensitive.
