Effective date: 1 October 2026. These website terms apply in addition to any separate signed quotation, statement of work, service agreement or order confirmation that may apply to a specific project.

1. Acceptance and scope

By accessing or using sopidotech.com, you agree to use the website lawfully, respectfully and in a way that does not interfere with the rights, security or availability of the site or other users. These terms cover the main website, blog, portfolio, contact forms, free tools, downloadable materials and related pages.

2. Eligibility and authority

You must have legal capacity to enter into these terms or use the website under the supervision/authority of someone who does. If you submit information for a business, client or organisation, you represent that you are authorised to provide it.

3. Website content

We publish content in good faith, but information may change. Laws, prices, software features, technical specifications and third-party policies can become outdated. Verify important information against current authoritative sources.

4. Free tools

Free tools are provided as utilities, not as professional advice or a substitute for due diligence. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using them for business, legal, financial, tax, technical, security or other important decisions.

5. Tool input, uploads and permitted use

You must have the necessary rights to text, images, documents or other material that you enter or upload into a tool. Do not upload material that is unlawful, malicious, infringing, confidential beyond your authority, or subject to restrictions you cannot comply with. Do not use the tools to attack, probe, overload or bypass website security.

6. Client services and project formation

A website enquiry, email or WhatsApp message is not an acceptance of an order and does not by itself create a binding service contract. Scope, deliverables, price, payment schedule, timelines, revisions, source files, licensing, intellectual-property ownership, third-party costs, maintenance and cancellation terms should be confirmed in a written quotation or service agreement.

7. Quotes, deposits, revisions and delivery

Where a project agreement contains terms for deposits, staged payments, milestones, revisions, approvals, delays, client-supplied materials or delivery, those written project terms control. If no project agreement exists, no specific delivery deadline, number of revisions, ownership transfer or acceptance criterion should be inferred from website marketing copy.

8. Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, lawful content, approvals, access credentials where required, and timely feedback. Delays caused by missing information, approvals or third-party dependencies may affect delivery dates.

9. Intellectual property

Unless expressly transferred or licensed in writing, website copy, original graphics, code, layouts, templates, documentation and other site materials remain owned by SOPIDOTECH LTD or the applicable rights holder. Client-specific ownership and licences are governed by the relevant project agreement. Third-party fonts, images, software, trademarks and other assets remain subject to their own licences.

10. Portfolio use

Where a project agreement permits, SOPIDOTECH may display completed work for portfolio, case-study or promotional purposes. If a project is confidential or subject to restrictions, those written restrictions control.

11. Prohibited conduct

• Attempting to bypass access controls or security mechanisms.
• Uploading malware, harmful code or unlawful material.
• Abusing automated requests, scraping or resource-intensive processes.
• Infringing intellectual-property, privacy or other rights.
• Using the website to facilitate fraud, impersonation or other unlawful conduct.

12. Third-party services and links

The website may link to WhatsApp, social networks, hosting providers, external resources, affiliate partners and client websites. Third-party terms, privacy notices, pricing and service commitments apply once you use those external services. We do not control third-party changes.

13. Affiliate and commercial disclosures

Some educational content may contain affiliate, referral, sponsored or partnership links. These relationships are addressed in our Affiliate & Partnership Disclosure.

14. Advertising and analytics

Optional analytics and marketing technologies are governed by the Cookie Policy. Where prior consent is required, the site is designed to withhold optional categories until a visitor enables them.

15. Availability, warranties and disclaimers

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and free tools are provided without a promise that they will be uninterrupted, completely error-free or suitable for every purpose. Mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SOPIDOTECH LTD is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the website, free tools or third-party services, except where such exclusion is not permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for losses reasonably arising from your unlawful misuse of the website, your infringement of third-party rights, or your breach of these terms.

18. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, and cookie/storage choices are described in the Cookie Policy.

19. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, users, security, legal rights or service availability. This does not remove any rights or obligations that should survive termination under applicable law or a separate agreement.

20. Governing law and mandatory local rights

Unless a signed project agreement states otherwise, disputes concerning use of the website are intended to be interpreted under the law applicable to SOPIDOTECH LTD's operation of the service. Nothing here is intended to remove mandatory consumer, privacy or other rights that apply in your country or region.

21. Changes

We may update these terms when the website, services, technology or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.

File sharing and portable projects

The File Share Tool uploads the selected permitted file to this website’s private server storage after explicit upload permission. It stores the original filename, size, SHA-256 digest, expiry, download count, password hash when selected, and a hash of the revocation key. File bytes are not encrypted at rest by this feature. A recipient link grants access to anyone holding it unless a password is required. Send passwords separately and keep the private management receipt confidential. Do not use public sharing for sensitive personal, payroll, medical or confidential records.

Choose an expiry of one hour, 24 hours or seven days and a maximum download count. Expired, revoked or exhausted links stop working; physical copies are removed at cleanup, on relevant requests or through the operator’s hourly cleanup task. An authorized download consumes a count when the response starts, even if the connection is interrupted. Revocation cannot recall copies already downloaded. Files are not scanned for malware. Upload only files you have permission to distribute; harmful, illegal or infringing uploads are prohibited. Report an unwanted share through our contact page, including the link.

Sharing uses a session and CSRF token, quotas and request-rate records keyed from the network address. These rate records are purged after they become older than 24 hours; hosting access logs may retain network and request information under the host’s policy. Uploaded files must not be treated as permanent backups. File and ZIP compression remain local to the browser. Explicit project or result downloads can contain entered financial data, contact information and tokens; no automatic storage is added by the portable-workspace enhancement. Selected file bytes and password input fields are excluded from project JSON, while explicitly downloaded password results remain sensitive.
